AV graft:
Using a synthetic tube to connect an artery to a vein when natural veins are not suitable.
Intravenous dialysis catheter: Often used temporarily, usually placed in the veins in the neck or other areas as needed.
Procedure
A dialysis access point is created under appropriate anesthesia. The doctor creates a connection between blood vessels or inserts a catheter, depending on the type of access point required.
After the procedure, the access point may need some time to become fully functional, especially in cases of AV fistulas, while monitoring blood flow and efficiency.

Once a kidney disease requiring dialysis is diagnosed, the patient is instructed to inform the medical staff when blood draws or intravenous medications are needed.
