Several modern techniques are available for treating varicose veins, including minimally invasive procedures such as intravenous laser therapy, VenaSeal (medical adhesive injection), and foam sclerotherapy, as well as some traditional surgical procedures in cases that warrant it.
The appropriate method is chosen based on the patient's condition, the size of the varicose veins, and the results of Doppler ultrasound. Most of these procedures are performed without the need for open surgery, with a short recovery period and a quick return to daily activities.
